What is PRA in TCS?

First of all if you are about to give your PRA exam then there is a trick to get through it , enough to get you above 55% . Ofcourse you need to work hard but smartly . First of all gather out previous years resources . It can be available anywhere in internet . Use this resource wisely as a study material . Go through the coding questions and you can see that most of the concepts are repeating . Go through the syntax of all the concepts . Cover atleast 10 coding questions. Learn the syntax either in java / python . Get help from tcs learning modules and youtube . After learning and understanding most of the syntax and there uses , practice 10 previous year questions , try doing on your own first and learn using the solutions. You can easily get 10 marks in mcqs .

Its Project readiness assessment. It is conducted at last of ILP as exit test. I am not sure but they say like if you fail you will send into a LAP. The portion is totally domain based and what ever you have studied in ILP its from there , so if you have descent knowledge you gonna rock. Its a multiple choice question where you can chose multiple answers. Hope it answer you querry

I joined TCS as a fresher in 2018. On the first day of our training we received an ID Card; if that counts under a “goodie”. But then you gotta return it once you are done working at TCS. So no, not really a goodie.

After I joined the project, I received a coffee mug. You can have a new one every six months.

Few ideas to try before you Quit,

Stop involving in unnecessary chai talks during office hours. (Hours saved: 2, energy saved immeasurable)

Plan your deliverable during first 30 minutes. (Focus gained: awesome level, Time Saved: as intelligent as we are)

Listen to tech podcasts or recorded sessions for the technical stack you wanted to move in (Travel time saved: 2 hrs, rejuvenation level: enough to track where we stand in that tech)

Go on travel trips on weekends, yes most of the time clarity of thought comes when we are far away from the stress bubble (Remember that shower? where a brilliant idea suddenly stuck out of nowhere).

P.S. This not pun intended by the way

PRA is Project Readiness Assessment. After once you joined TCS they've to go through training and after technical training, one have to go through PRA exam so that they are compatible to join a project.

I don't know whether PRA exam pattern is changing or not at certain time period. Once you complete Biz Training then TCS will allot you in different technical training like ITIS , Java , Python etc. I was alloted to Java training.

Okey thats it!!! Make sure to upvote it and comment if you got any questions .
